Welcome to the October edition of WBT News.
Much of the news this quarter is focused on the association market. E-Learning is certainly a growing area within associations and professional bodies.
Many associations are beginning their e-Learning journey and this can be daunting. Customer Spotlight - ICON
When it came to training for ICON’s workforce of almost 7,000 global employees, keeping track of changing training requirements for the various job roles for employees in 38 different countries posed a huge challenge. The administration of filing, storing and tracking the paperwork and certifications for regulatory reporting was enormous. Using TopClass, ICON can now offer employees self-serve training with online visibility of their learning plans with self-registration of courses, from any location at any given time. Their reliance on paper has now been greatly reduced.

Society of Association Executive Annual Conference - Toronto
In August a few members of the WBT team travelled to Toronto for the Society of Association Executives Annual Conference. It’s the first time WBT has been involved and we were pleasantly surprised - both the turnout and the quality of the sessions & speakers was excellent. Associated General Contractors of America - Annual HR Conference
AGC’s annual HR Professionals and Training & Development conference will be taking place October 27-29th in Atlanta. AGC recently implemented WBT’s TopClass LMS and we’ll be attending the event and presenting on Managing Training Through an LMS. We’ll also be talking about the advantages of an LMS for chapters and chapter staff.

Customer Spotlight - ELT
ELT provides specialized training in the area of ethics and compliance. Their challenge was to deliver company specific versions of their courseware to a client base of over 1,000 companies. They needed a solution that would give them the flexibility to deliver different versions of courses based on job role. Today TopClass provides them with a scaleable solution that meets their needs, and provides them with ample room for growth.
