Welcome to the latest edition of WBT NEWS.
WBT Systems kicked off the year with a bang by winning the e-Learning Company of the Year award at the Digital Media Awards held in Dublin in February. This coincided with the announcement of a number of new deals and extensions to existing contracts including Bintang Toedjoe (Indonesia), IDT (US), University of Melbourne (Australia), Anglo American (South Africa), Semler (Denmark) and Clinphone (UK).
We are pleased to announce that TopClass 7.4 will be available for general release in April. This release will deliver a number of important enhancements and will be of particular interest to customers in regulated industries. We are planning a webinar for our customers in April to explain this new functionality.

WBT Wins Major Industry Award
WBT Systems has been named e-Learning Company of the Year at the prestigious Digital Media Awards held in Dublin, Ireland. The award is in recognition of WBT’s innovation, growth and product excellence. WBT was selected from a shortlist of e-learning companies that included some of the leading providers in the marketplace. Joe Pulichino, VP Marketing, (pictured) collected the award

Profexcel Extends Leadership with WBT Systems
WBT Systems announced the continued expansion of Profexcel, the web-based developer of professional education and skills training for the primary school teaching sector. Profexcel gives teachers direct access to experts and online education in areas such as Dyslexia, Autism and ADHD.
Bayer Diagnostics Selects WBT Systems to Support North American Operations
WBT will provide the platform to meet the learning and training requirements of Bayer Diagnostics, a division of Bayer HealthCare. The company, which employs approximately 7,000 employees worldwide, provides and services a full range of in vitro diagnostic equipment including high volume test systems for large hospital and laboratories.
Dutch Healthcare Initiative Powered by WBT Systems
The TopClass e-Learning Suite from WBT Systems will be used to power an education and training initiative for a leading hospital consortium in the Netherlands. Four medical organisations have joined forces to develop a training portal to provide medical e-learning courses online.
Insurance Leader Launches New Online Learning Solutions using WBT's TopClass
WBT Systems announced the launch of LOMALearn Online, the e-Learning portal for LOMA, the leading trade association to the insurance and financial services industry.
LOMALearn Online will be powered by WBT’s award-winning TopClass e-Learning Suite.

WBT Systems has been listed in the Leader quadrant in a report published by Gartner, the global technology advisory and research firm. The Gartner report positions Learning Management Systems from sixteen vendors and placed seven LMSs in the Leader quadrant.

WBT Selected by Leading Mobile Operator for Pan-African Pilot
WBT Systems has been selected for the pilot to manage, track and deliver training to Celtel employees in thirteen African countries. Celtel, a major mobile network operator with more than seven million customers, is expanding rapidly on the African continent.

TopClass Version 7.4The latest version of TopClass is due for release in April. TopClass 7.4 will be of interest to all WBT customers but particularly those operating in regulated industries. The main features of Version 7.4 are:
- Electronic signature support (21 CFR11)
- Oracle 10G support
- Report Scheduling
- ILT multiple location wait-listing
We will be running briefing sessions for our partners and customers in advance of the TopClass 7.4 release in April. Invitations to register will be sent out in the coming weeks.
