Welcome to our latest edition of WBT NEWS.
It's been an exciting few months at WBT with new customers coming on board, the release of TopClass 7.4, a line-up of events and a new addition to the WBT team.
However, the biggest news is probably the change of ownership of WBT. In August, Horizon Technology Group officially acquired WBT. Horizon is a leading technical integrator and distributor of information technology products in the UK and Ireland and is listed on the Dublin and London stock exchanges.
So you may be wondering what the acquisition means for WBT, our customers and partners? The answer is that it will be a positive step for all involved. WBT will have access to an extended pool of resources and will enjoy an even greater level of financial stability. WBT will operate as an independent company and will continue to market, support and develop the TopClass e-Learning Suite.
The news of the change of ownership has not slowed down the pace here at all. We've signed up new customers both in the UK and North America and extended contracts with a number of existing customers.
We have a couple of events coming up in the September timeframe with customer Bayer Healthcare presenting at Workforce Performance 2006, in Las Vegas. In addition, WBT's partner LOMA, will have their Annual Conference starting September 17th, at which TopClass will be showcased.
Finally, we hope you enjoy this edition of WBT NEWS and, as always, we welcome your comments, suggestions and ideas.
