Newsletter - December 2004

WBT NEWS, AUGUST 2004

Welcome to the December 2004 edition of WBT NEWS, WBT’s online newsletter.

2004 was a landmark year for WBT Systems. We substantially exceeded our targets and continued our expansion with new offices in Canada, San Francisco and the Netherlands. We secured major deals with world leading companies including Husqvarna, Ryanair, FirstPlus, Alexander Forbes and BI, and welcomed additional staff to our offices in Europe and North America. This year WBT was also listed by Gartner in the leader quadrant of its Magic Quadrant reports on both e-Learning Suites and Learning Management Systems.

In 2004, we launched TopClass Version 7, ran our WBT Best Practice Forum in October and published the results of our research on e-learning Best Practice for Financial Services. On the partner side, we signed important new deals with organizations as far a field as Australia and India. And finally, we were honoured to receive the ICT Company of the Year award 2004 and first place in the e-learning/Learning Management Systems (LMS) category at the prestigious HR Technology Excellence Awards

2005 promises to be even more exciting! It’s also our tenth anniversary. From humble beginnings as a technology start up in 1995, today WBT Systems provides an integrated offering combining leading-edge technology, consulting services and tailored vertical solutions.

We hope you enjoy this edition of WBT NEWS and, as always, we welcome your comments, suggestions and ideas regarding the content of WBT NEWS.
