TopClass used to train over 75,000 Healthcare Staff

Over the past year, WBT Systems has been developing a strong vertical strategy to deliver customized solutions to this industry. The Healthcare industry faces many challenges in this increasing regulatory environment especially in relation to complying with privacy and security issues related to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and with OSHA Safety and Health standards. TopClass can be used to enable the delivery, tracking and management of role specific training, compliance related training and certification.

Each company was able to deliver over 50,000 hours of on-line training to approximately 20,000 users in 6 - 8 weeks.

WBT Systems is also working with a number of hospitals, including the University of Chicago Hospitals (UCH), which have implemented TopClass to provide staff training. TopClass simplifies the delivery of on-line training for hospitals like UCH that typically have three types of content to manage and deliver on-line: 3rd party off-the-shelf content (HIPAA, Hand Hygiene and Health & Safety topics), custom developed content, and in-house developed content (typically in Word and PowerPoint) for topics such as Time Management, Employee Orientation and Performance Reviews.
