TopClass Solution Selected to train Worldwide Sales and Service Organisation
Dublin, Ireland - April 14th, 2004 - WBT Systems, a global leader in Enterprise e-Learning solutions, today announced that Husqvarna, a world leading producer of outdoor power equipment has selected TopClass to train its worldwide distribution network. WBT Systems won the contract in a joint venture with its Swedish partner, Outsmart, following an extensive evaluation period. Based on the results of a successful e-learning pilot in the US market where certified dealers increased their sales by 21% more than non-certified dealers, Husqvarna now plans to implement blended learning to the full enterprise, which includes employees, sales-companies and dealers. Husqvarna produces high-quality outdoor power equipment with a broad product range including chainsaws, trimmers, hedgetrimmers, blowers, lawnmowers, riders and tractors. Keeping dealers up to speed given the wide product range and the technical nature of the goods is an on-going challenge. “TopClass provides us with a robust, enterprise, scalable solution that we can quickly rollout to our dealer network around the globe” said Mikael Zetterlund, Husqvarna Brand Manager and Project Owner. “Not only are we confident that TopClass can meet our current business requirements, but we are very positive about the flexibility it offers us on a go-forward basis. In the first phase of the project, the plan is to reach 7000 of our best dealers in 18 countries over a three year period. However, if the initial implementation results are anything like the pilot we are prepared to go even faster" added Mikael Zetterlund.
