Global Financial Services Association selects WBT Systems to Power e-Learning Initiative

New Customer Partnership Relationship to target Financial Institutions

Dublin, Ireland - March 11th, 2005 - WBT Systems, a leading provider of enterprise e-learning solutions to the financial services sector, today announces a major partnership with LOMA, the leading trade association to the financial services industry. Under the terms of the agreement, LOMA will use WBT's Learning Management System/Learning Content Management System (LMS/LCMS) solutions to power LOMA’s online learning development and delivery operations. WBT's LMS/LCMS systems will be powering not only LOMA’s standard online learning offerings, but will also allow LOMA to provide its members and customers with privately branded online learning sites through an application service provider model.

The partnership brings together two world leading organizations with complementary offerings; WBT's enterprise learning management and content delivery platform and LOMA’s extensive content library and custom development skills. LOMA will use WBT’s TopClass solution to manage and deliver content, training, and certification to its 1200 member companies and other customers in more than 80 countries.

LOMA is the world’s largest provider of education and training to the global financial services sector. Each year, employees in financial services organizations throughout the world enroll for more than 90,000 LOMA examinations covering insurance and financial services topics. Until now most of this training has been provided through self-study textbook methods. Using TopClass, LOMA will be able to offer its award-winning content in an online format, enhancing its ability to meet industry learning needs. The WBT solution also provides LOMA with the scalability to expand its delivery to even more financial services professionals in the future.

LOMA opted for TopClass because of the breadth of the product suite and the flexibility and configurability that it offered. As planned, the new TopClass system will enable LOMA to provide its customers with the ability to brand and incorporate their own look and feel into their online course offerings. The superior tracking and reporting functionality in TopClass will also help LOMA customers meet regulatory checks for employee training and certification.

Under the terms of the Customer Partnership Relationship both WBT and LOMA will also co-market each others products and services

Announcing the partnership, LOMA President and CEO Tom Donaldson, FLMI, CLU said “We looked long and hard at the many e-learning systems on the market and found WBT’s TopClass product to be the best solution to meet LOMA’s and our members' needs. LOMA’s text-based programs have been an industry standard for more than 70 years. The WBT system will allow us to provide our outstanding insurance and financial services content in a variety of formats, allowing customers to choose topics to meet specific learning needs and to add their own material to create co-branded courses and programs. Our arrangement with WBT allows us to provide our customers with a superior system for online delivery—whether they access the LOMA site directly or work with us to create a company-specific interface on our site.”

Commenting on the agreement, Declan Kelly CEO WBT Systems added “We are delighted to be partnering with LOMA. Our combined solutions will now be leveraged by a high proportion of leading global financial services institutions. This agreement consolidates our leadership position in the financial services market and is a further endorsement of our investments in extending our products and services to meet the needs of regulated industries".
