Latest Release of e-Learning Suite Unicode Enabled and Section 508 Compliant

Dublin, Ireland - August 11th, 2005 - WBT Systems, a global leader in enterprise e-learning solutions, today announced the latest production release of the TopClass e-Learning Suite^TM. From version 7.3, the TopClass product suite is fully Unicode enabled and compliant with Section 508 which requires US Federal agencies´ electronic and information technology to be accessible to people with disabilities. There have also been a number of enhancements to the Learning Management System (LMS) in the area of catalogue and registration.

The international capability of the TopClass e-Learning Suite^TM has been significantly increased with the adoption of full Unicode authoring and delivery. This allows universal portability of software and, importantly, content. This is important for organisations who want to deploy global solutions. From TopClass 7.3, the standard web interface and online help system have been enhanced to offer improved accessibility and are now compliant with the US Federal requirement Section 508.

TopClass 7.3 also introduces a number of key enhancements in the area of Instructor Led Training (ILT) administration including advanced management of ILT attendance and cancellations, an ILT notification engine allowing context based e-mail records, and full audit of ILT activities.
