RegEd Enhances Online Offering with TopClass

Dublin - October 26th, 2005 - WBT Systems, a leading provider of enterprise e-learning solutions, announces today that its award-winning TopClass e-Learning Suite^TM has been selected by RegEd to manage its catalog of training and development programs for the financial services industry. RegEd is the leader in this field with over 300,000 registered representative and insurance agents in 600 financial services and insurance companies accessing its programs.

Announcing the deal, RegEd’s Director of Education and Marketing, Julie Spitzley Mendel, said "We looked long and hard at the many Learning Management Systems (LMS) on the market and found WBT’s TopClass product to be the best solution to meet RegEd’s and our customer’s needs. The WBT solution frees up the time our e-learning team spends on manually updating study material and allows us to concentrate on our core business - providing outstanding insurance and financial services content to our customers."

RegEd’s programs help individuals and companies meet the growing body of rules from regulatory and compliance bodies in the securities and insurance industry. The organization also works with professional designation boards on programs to fulfill requirements for the CFP, CPE and PACE qualifications. In total, RegEd operates within a framework of 54 different rule sets and offers a standard library of over 350 courses with an equal number of customized programs.

The TopClass LMS has now been integrated with RegEd’s existing e-commerce and reporting systems and RegEd will shortly transition over to the TopClass Learning Content Management System (LCMS) for its content development requirements.
