ELT chooses TopClass to Power Compliance Training Delivery
Dublin - April 18th, 2006 - WBT Systems, one of the leading providers of enterprise e-Learning solutions, announced today that it will provide the Learning Management System (LMS) technology for ethics and legal compliance training specialist, ELT. The award-winning TopClass e-Learning Suite™ will serve as the platform to drive ELT’s online workplace compliance training programs for 1,000,000 learners in over 500 US organizations. ELT develops courseware and training programs on a range of legal compliance topics such as workplace harassment, diversity, hiring, ethics and code of conduct. These programs help organizations demonstrate their commitment to a safe, compliant and respectful workplace. In the event of a lawsuit, an organization’s workplace compliance program may have to withstand jury scrutiny so the tracking and certification capabilities provided by TopClass are critically important. ELT also customizes programs to include workplace policies and to track individual acknowledgement and receipt of policies. Commenting on the deal, Michael Korcuska, VP Operations at ELT said, “After evaluating numerous vendors, we chose WBT because of their breadth of experience in the professional training organization (PTO) market and their established track record with large implementations. The company was also ranked highly by independent analysts”. Declan Kelly, CEO WBT Systems added, “WBT Systems has the experience and the knowledge to help large PTOs develop and deliver effective compliance training and certification programs for their customers. Our ability to respond to the needs of the PTO and associations market and to share best practices is proven by our successful implementations in organizations such as Greene Consulting, Innovatia, RegEd, LOMA, AHIMA, IMKO, Zenosis and many others”.
