Role
Technical Implementation Consultants will use their technical skills and product knowledge to assist in ensuring the successful implementation of our enterprise learning management solutions. The role is primarily focused on developing custom workflow and custom functionality required by our customers, so a strong working knowledge of Java, web technologies and RDBMS products is a must. Most of our customers are based outside Ireland, and for this reason, flexible hours are required at times.
From time to time, the candidate may be required to get involved with pre- and post-sales support activities.
Successful candidates will be a dynamic, self-starting individuals who will typically have 2 or more years of successful software/solution development and implementation experience.
Responsibilities
Execute a range of hands-on implementation activities, such as:
- Install and configure WBT Systems products
- Develop custom workflow and functionality
- Develop integration interfaces with other systems
- Supporting and troubleshooting customer issues
- Assisting with other customer related activities such as pre and post-sales technical support, trade shows, etc.
Skills
- Experience in Java development.
- Working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, CSS
- Experience of RDBMS products (ORACLE & SQL Server).
- Outstanding communication, teamwork and customer management skills.
