(TrainingPressReleases.com) – WBT Systems’ TopClass LMS has been named as the #1 Association Learning Management System for the second consecutive year in the Talented Learning LMS Vendor Awards 2016. The annual LMS Vendor Awards highlight the best learning management system vendors across 12 key categories, identifying the top three and two honorable mentions in each category. TopClass LMS had previously been named the Best Association LMS in 2015.
Announcing the award, John Leh, CEO and Lead Analyst at Talented Learning noted, “Although the association LMS space is extremely specialized, it continues to experience explosive growth and innovation. WBT Systems continues to provide the best learning solution that caters for the unique requirements of associations and anticipates their needs based on new trends in the professional education industry.”
WBT Systems provides TopClass Learning Management System, a comprehensive and flexible learning platform for association education and certification programs. TopClass focuses on simplifying the delivery of learning for administrators, while providing rewarding and diverse professional learning experiences that increase member engagement.
TopClass LMS provides turnkey integration with association management systems (AMS), ecommerce, digital libraries, globalization, audience segmentation, mobile responsiveness, social learning, virtual classrooms, webcasting tools, and event management features. Building on one of the key trends in association education and increasing demand for social and mobile learning experiences, the latest release of TopClass LMS extends the platform’s social learning capabilities with enhanced learner profiles, online community integration, and digital badges with full Mozilla OpenBadges compatibility.
WBT Systems team recognized for industry-leading skills
In addition to highlighting the best learning management system vendors in each of 10 platform categories, Talented Learning honored specific individuals in two categories: Best LMS Demonstrator and LMS Sales Stars. WBT Systems received recognition for the skills and dedication of its team members, winning the top award in both categories.
Linda Bowers, CTO of WBT Systems, retained her title as Best LMS Demonstrator in 2016. According to Leh, “Great demonstrators must not only understand learning, the LMS and business objectives, but also possess the talent to deliver a demo in a humorous, engaging way that is tailored to their audience.”
In the LMS Sales Stars category, Leh emphasizes that “High-quality sales representatives are critical for any LMS vendor’s success. The best LMS salespeople listen more than they sell, are energized by solving business problems, and are super-responsive communicators.” WBT Systems is proud that two team members, Gilles Defer, Vice President for Sales, and Mike Bourassa, Director of Business Development, were recognized in 1st and 3rd place respectively.
Commenting on the awards, WBT Systems’ CEO Paul Dooley said, “We are honored that TopClass continues to be recognized as the Best Learning Management System for Associations, and we are delighted with the commendations for the WBT Systems’ team. We are continuously developing TopClass to provide a learning solution which is flexible and comprehensive, to enable our association clients to develop and deliver effective, engaging education and certification programs for their learners.”
WBT Systems will be exhibiting at the ASAE Technology Conference 2016 National Harbor, Maryland, December 13-14. Attendees are encouraged to stop by Booth 615 to meet our LMS Sales Stars and see a demonstration of TopClass, the #1 Learning Management System for Associations.
